Interactions
These are some of the interactions between organisms and how they interact with the other animals in the biome and ecosystem.
1. Ostriches follow herds of zebra or antelope for food
2. Nile Crocodiles will eat mainly fish or anything else in its path, and may eat up to half its body weight at a feeding
3. Lions prey upon crested porcupines and zebras for food

Abiotic Factors
Some important abiotic factors include the soil and water. During the dry season, the soil becomes isn't as fertile. During this time, many shrubs and small grasses die. As the wet season comes along, the soil regains fertility. The grazing of large herbivores is one of the ways that the soil regains fertility. Another way is animal waste that leaves behind nutrients which causes the shrubs and grasses to replenish. The other main abiotic factor, water, is mainly scarce during the dry season and plentiful during the wet season. During the wet season, the water allows the grasses and shrubs to grow
